What We Do
UrgentCareNearMe24 is a free online directory that helps people quickly find urgent care centers open near them — including evenings, weekends, and same-day walk-in visits. We cover more than 900 cities across the United States, listing clinic names, addresses, phone numbers, and hours of operation so you can make a fast, informed decision about where to go.
Our goal is simple: when you are sick or hurt, you should not have to spend 20 minutes searching to find out if the clinic down the street is open. We organize that information in one place so you can act quickly.
Why We Built This
Urgent care is one of the most underused resources in American healthcare — largely because people do not know what clinics near them are open, what hours they keep, or whether they accept walk-ins. Meanwhile, emergency rooms see millions of non-emergency visits every year from patients who simply did not know there was a faster, cheaper alternative nearby.
We built this directory to close that information gap. Finding the right care at the right time should not require calling five clinics or sifting through outdated Google results. This site is designed to be the fastest way to answer one question: where can I get care right now?
How Our Listings Are Sourced
Every listing on this site is checked against Google's Places API, which supplies the star ratings, review counts, and business website links shown alongside many listings. A listing only counts as verified once it has a specific, real street address behind it — not a generic city-level placeholder. For cities where that bar wasn't met, we cross-check against the CMS NPPES NPI Registry, the U.S. government's public database of registered healthcare providers, filtered to organizations whose primary registered specialty is urgent care.
Our focus is on urgent care centers that accept walk-in patients without a prior appointment — the defining characteristic of urgent care. Each listing includes the clinic name, street address, phone number, and hours of operation where we have verified them. A small number of cities do not yet have a verified data source behind their listings; those pages are marked as unverified and excluded from search results until real data backs them.
Important: Hours and availability change frequently — especially around holidays, weather events, and staffing changes. We do our best to keep listings current, but we strongly recommend calling the clinic directly to confirm hours before your visit. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by any clinic listed on this site.
Our Editorial Standards
Beyond the clinic directory, this site publishes informational guides on topics like when to choose urgent care vs. the ER, how much urgent care costs, and what conditions urgent care can treat. These guides are written to be accurate, practical, and genuinely useful — not to generate clicks.
